About Me
My name is Yeside Aminat Olasimbo, born on the plains of Sabo Yaba into the family of Adewale Olasimbo on the 6th of May 1994. As the only daughter of my father raised in a polygamous family, a strong culture of hard work was instilled in me from an early age, shaping my independence and resilience. My father, who passed away in 2019, hails from Ijebu Ode in Ogun State, while my mother is from Lagos State. From birth, I am proudly Lagosian, born, bred, and established in the Centre of Excellence, Sabo Yaba, a place I remain deeply proud to be associated with.
Politics & Governance
I work within Nigeria’s legislative system to advance gender-responsive policies, inclusive governance, and women’s political participation. As Special Assistant on Women Affairs to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, my work spans legislative advocacy, constitutional reform, strategic lobbying, and partnerships that embed gender equity into law and governance.

Environmentalist & Climate Advocate
I lead community-driven climate action focused on education, sustainability, and localized solutions. As Founder of the Bluelilly Initiative, I mobilize young people, volunteers, and stakeholders to translate climate knowledge into practical action—driving environmental awareness, grassroots engagement, and climate resilience across communities in Nigeria.
Modeling & Beauty Entrepreneur
My journey in modeling and beauty blends creativity, confidence, and entrepreneurship. From national pageantry titles to founding Wale Cosmetics, a purpose-driven beauty brand, I have used public platforms to champion self-expression, empower women and youth, and build a brand rooted in quality, legacy, and impact.
Social Works
A life dedicated to compassion and impact—supporting education, medical needs, community empowerment, and environmental action through the Bluelilly Humanitarian Empowerment Initiative to create lasting change across Nigeria and beyond.
